Today, I am announcing my resignation from the Shadow Cabinet and National Committee of the Green Party of Quebec (PVQ). 

It has been a privilege to serve with my extraordinary Shadow Cabinet and National Committee colleagues. I feel, however, that it would not be appropriate for me to continue to serve while I and PVQ leader Alex Tyrrell are both running for the leadership of the Green Party of Canada (GPC). I thank Alex for inviting me to serve as Justice Critic in the PVQ Shadow Cabinet and wish him well in his bid to become leader of the GPC.
