I believe Dimitri has the principles and experience to make crucial systemic changes. He asks the right questions and also knows how to answer them, which most politicians don't. He is not afraid to say that he is anti-capitalist, which is important since there is no way to sufficiently address the climate crisis or social justice issues within the capitalist model. I will vote for him. If he doesn't win, I hope he will still be a prominent voice in politics and activism because his ideas and his public speaking are compelling, and I think he could win a lot of support for the anti-capitalism movement (and the Green Party if it becomes less middle-of-the-road).

Dimitri should emphasize his excellent foreign policy. ● The new Department of Peace and National Defense will reorient Canada’s defense policy away from aggressive wars and towards the defence of Canada, disaster relief and humanitarian aid, and UN-mandated peacekeeping with transparency and democratic control.

Dimitri Lascaris is smart, articulate, and honest; the leader Canada needs as we face an uncertain future.
I joined the Green Party of Canada this past summer as soon as Dimitri confirmed his candidacy.
I will support his bid to become leader of the GPC and ultimately the prime minister of the country.

Lots and lots of disappointments in politics for me, Dimitri is a bright light with a well thought out platform and brave enough to eloquently and convincingly pitch a vision for a better tomorrow. A little sorry I have cursed him with my support - I have a terrible track record when it comes to politicians I have cheered for...but I am clearly due. My wife and I are professionals in our 6th decade and while we may have something to "lose" from a significant wealth tax, we are inspired by Dimitri's vision and ideas for a more sustainable, equitable and just future.

Dimitri has by far the best vision for a better Canada. His record and his commitment to equality and justice is impressive.

As a longterm campaigner for real ambition in addressing the climate crisis (and doing our fair share as a nation), it has become ever more clear to me that the principal obstacle to action lies with big business - the vested interests of the fossil and some other extractive industries (and their lobbyists and provincial party funding campaigns), the lack of objective coverage of the crisis in the corporate-owned media, the misleading statements coming out of rightwing thinktanks. Other leadership candidates could bring valuable skills and experience to the party, but I see only one candidate with both the will and the ability to take on these oiligarchs and pollutocrats - and that is Dimitri Lascaris.
