Dimitri's excellent and thorough eco-socialist vision won me over and convinced me to become a Green party member. He's the first potential leader of a Canadian political party that has a platform that actually excites me and takes the climate, ecological, and inequality/capitalist crises seriously. We can't solve these tremendous issues in a humane way without taking on our economic system and empowering normal people/workers, as well as reinvigorating and transforming our political system to favour the many and not just the top 10% of Canadians. As well, Dimitri speaks clear truth on issues of international concern and inequality that I rarely hear adequately discussed in most political discourse.

The NDP currently has no plans of doing anything other than playing nice with the ruling corporate parties, namely the Liberal and Conservative parties. The Greens must spearhead a different approach drawing broad progressive coalitions under a common eco-socialist umbrella. I would be genuinely excited to stick around and get involved/volunteer for the Green party, were it to offer a clear eco-socialist vision such as that which Dimitri has laid out, with a leader like him who can clearly articulate it and fight it for on a national stage. The the Greens choose another path, I think my time and energy would be best spent somewhere else outside the party. The time for incrementalism has passed and I don't plan on merely spending my life watching the world burn. That's why I'm pledging my support for Dimitri.

Dimitri has by far the best vision of Canada's place on the global stage.

He is a person that is taking action action and speaking up for the ordinary person, equality and against oppression of people not only in Canada but for all humanity. His economic and progressive policies are what Canada and the World needs NOW.
